What is Pro Wallet for IOTA?
Pro Wallet for IOTA is a professional Chrome extension wallet designed for the IOTA ecosystem. It supports both IOTA L1 (Move) and IOTA EVM (chainId 8822), allowing you to manage assets, interact with dApps, and perform advanced operations like batch sending and cross-chain bridging — all from a single extension.
How do I install Pro Wallet for IOTA?
Visit our homepage and click the "Install Extension" button, which will take you to the Chrome Web Store. Click "Add to Chrome" and follow the prompts. After installation, click the extension icon in your browser toolbar to set up your wallet.
Is Pro Wallet for IOTA free to use?
Yes! Pro Wallet for IOTA offers a permanent $0 Free Tier covering unlimited accounts, dApp connections, full transaction history, up to 10 address book contacts, and monthly trial quotas for power tools (3 bridges/mo, 3 batch transfers/mo, 3 swaps/mo). For power users who need unlimited quotas, transparent Pro plans are available: Monthly ($5.99/mo), Annual ($45.99/yr — save ~36%), and Lifetime ($125.99 one-time). Check our dedicated Pricing page for full details.
How are my private keys stored?
Your private keys are encrypted using Argon2id key derivation combined with AES-256-GCM encryption, and stored locally in your browser. They never leave your device — not even to our servers. Only you can access them with your password.
Is Pro Wallet for IOTA self-custodial?
Yes, Pro Wallet for IOTA is fully self-custodial. This means you have complete control over your private keys and funds. We cannot access, freeze, or move your assets. Always keep your recovery phrase safe and private.
What happens if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, you can restore your wallet using your 12 or 24-word recovery (mnemonic) phrase. Without the recovery phrase, there is no way to recover your wallet, as we do not store any copies of your keys or passwords.
What is the L1 ↔ EVM Bridge?
The built-in bridge allows you to transfer IOTA tokens between the native L1 chain (Move-based) and the IOTA EVM network without leaving the wallet. The bridge direction is automatically determined by your active account type — no manual switching needed.
How does batch sending work?
Batch sending lets you send IOTA to hundreds of addresses in a single atomic transaction. Simply upload a CSV file with "address, amount" per line, and the wallet will bundle all transfers into one transaction block. This saves time and gas fees compared to individual transfers.
Can I manage multiple accounts?
Yes, Pro Wallet for IOTA supports multiple independent mnemonic profiles, each with unlimited derived accounts. You can also import external private keys, lock individual accounts, and export keys — all protected by your password.
Does Pro Wallet for IOTA support dApps?
Yes, Pro Wallet for IOTA is fully dApp-ready. It injects a standard wallet provider into web pages, allowing you to connect to and interact with IOTA L1 dApps and IOTA EVM dApps seamlessly.
Why is my transaction failing?
Common reasons for transaction failures include: insufficient gas balance, network congestion, or invalid recipient addresses. Make sure you have enough IOTA for gas fees. If the problem persists, try refreshing the extension or switching RPC endpoints in settings.
The extension is not loading, what should I do?
Try these steps: 1) Disable and re-enable the extension in Chrome settings (chrome://extensions). 2) Clear your browser cache. 3) Ensure you are running the latest version of Chrome. 4) Reinstall the extension. If issues continue, please submit a bug report through our feedback page.
