Do I need a paid account to use basic wallet features?
No. Wallet creation, account management, mnemonic backup, dApp interaction, and standard transfers are 100% free and self-custodial. Paid accounts are only needed to unlock unlimited power quotas.
Are my private keys secure when I upgrade to Pro?
Absolutely. Pro Wallet for IOTA is strictly self-custodial. Your seed phrase and private keys are encrypted locally using Argon2id and AES-256-GCM and never leave your browser extension. Our subscription billing backend never has access to your cryptographic keys or funds.
Can I cancel my subscription or upgrade to Lifetime later?
